Andrea Durán is a freelance digital storytelling journalist at MCM and previously participated in MCM's BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ Fellowship Program. Originally from Mexico City, Andrea is fully bilingual and has lived in Montgomery County since she was young. She is passionate about reporting in-depth stories that highlight the intersection of minority community experiences and the environment with government policy. Andrea holds a master’s degree in journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication.
